[glow=red,2,300]Cyborg, you're getting very fancy with your attacks. Please don't take this the wrong way, but your style of fighting is impractical. You were fighting two people at once earlier, and now Midknight is taking a running start and flipping like a scene from the Matrix. There's no easy way to repond to these attacks that doesn't result in you simply being cut down. Please don't take offence. [/glow] >_> <_< Must...not...succumb...to...temptation...of quoting...

Actually Rider there is one way easily to stop Midknight's attack. Stab to the gut before he hits the ground. [glow=red,2,300]Stab to the gut? 0_o Um, we're not trying to kill any PCs here who don't want to be killed. Especially not in such a greusome way. No intestines in this RP, I beg you. [/glow]

Hey Zari, the three Marines are basically NPCs, like all the other SF Marines mentioned in GW2, so I doubt that Zari would know that they're even at the battlefield, much less know their names. And if she saw them or used some sort of telepathy, she could more easily recognize Jord as "dead" than "Jord".

I just realized no one's paying attention to the prisoner. ... Might as well make a break for it, but then again...

I mean, you were pretty steadfastly going at it last time, trying to get ont he ship. I'll pay attention to the prisoner (if he's still there ) when the battle is over. EDIT: The thing I'm thinking about does work against mist, right? And Cele, dare I ask what you were gonna quote? XD [/glow]

Too bad you all have injured him far enough. ... And the end of the battle? That's like, the end of GW2. D:

XD [/glow] ...it doesn't have to work on the mist xDDD The ship considers the ninjas to be allies, remember? That sort of thing doesn't change easily. So the mist isn't a problem by the slightest. The meepits are, Leraye might be, and whoever else was on board gets a chance to jump in, but the ship itself is completely indifferent. It only dislikes intruders.

Then again, I can only imagine him being tossed around inside the mist if it happens. DDDD:

[glow=red,2,300]Hunty, I told the mist to keep him locked in. I'm sure that with a little fancy rhetoric, he could convince the mist otherwise, though. Leraye is an easily distractable fellow. I'll say nothing about our little rabid friends and the cranky fire-chicken. Consider that your puzzle.[/glow]

Y'see, once the captain has already told the ship to get a certain mindset about some people, it's very hard to change (otherwise my commanding the ship would get way too convenient, no? >>) It's hard to convince the ship to consider former enemies allies, and it's equally hard to convince it to consider former allies enemies. I think it can only ever happen if the ship witnesses first-hand that the former ally is now an enemy (as in, if you deliberately blow off a mast or something). Attacking crewmembers on board doesn't much count, because there can always be fights among the crew. In other words, once allowed on the ship, always allowed on the ship. Unless the meepits bite your nose off, of course :3

That sounds good. Let me try that later on. :3

[shadow=purple,left,300]Oh, and in case anyone's wondering, I froze the Commander's stone sphere in place. I'll let him break through once Strife gets back into the RP. Ikkin - thanks for posting. ^^ Now I'll just wait for Deri's reaction and control Asthielle a bit.[/shadow] You did that for me? Aww, thank you. ^__^ I've been reading through the RP during my shifts at work, so it gives me time to think about my next round of posts while I try and motivate myself to type them up. The ice sphere definitely will add a nice twist, and I think i'll have The Commander stay inside of it for a while as I give my other characters some attention.

I need some help. And, yes, that should be read as: HELP!!!!! *runs in circles* *runs into wall*
You see, I'm in a bit of a tight spot. I'm still ~20 pages behind, but I'd like to post my character's next post now. However, this post happens to explain the HISTORY OF THE GEM and the ADVENT OF THE INVISIBLE GUILD, and I may or may not be current with present developments in either issue.
Therefore, unless someone can tell me indisputably that these parties have not been furthered developed since page 95, I need someone to read over the post (which is ~2200 words long) to make sure it still fits and, if not, tell me where I need to make adjustments. I've carefully charted my sources and skillfully put it all into place, so I doubt anything's been outdated (I wrote it about sixty pages back, so I doubt anything in the next twenty could change it if it's remained factual this long), but I just want to be sure. No use making unnecessary plot holes when I'm working so hard to tie up the loose ends we already have. =)
So, if anyone's available, PM me. I'll send it to the first person who responds, or to the most-able applicant, unless, of course, someone first assures me that nothing's changed since I last saw them. :)
