Erm, why is everyone going to the direct centre of the storm? I for one would think we'd stay away from one ... unless you're a stormchaser xD And Trilly's posts never fail to make me grin on a side note xDDD Oh, and who has the orb thingy now? Hades, Fraze or Zari? Well, my character wanted to get into the centre of the action. Not sure about anyone else's.

Zari was talking to Both Rikku and Surf. Rikku for the first part, and Surf for the 'You friend is okay' part.

Er, guys, can we get something done about the artifact so that I can plot stealing it? ^^; There's pages upon pages upon pages of... eh, posts, and nothing's happening with the artifact. I can, of course, have Bloody Mary bounce in and drag the bag away while the weasels have been all distractive, but that'd probably be anticlimactic. Actually, the ninjas are after the artifact right now, specifically PFA and the others. Should take them a little while longer to get there, though.

Strife has a point, this RP is traveling at slow-bloid speeds. (Yay for Star Trek velocity measure ripoffs!) Anyway, what are bloids famous for doing?
...No, not that. What else are they famous for?
...Still don't get it?
They explode. I think someone should save the RP on some kind of text document, in case something happens to it and we want to recover it. I might be able to do it tomorrow, since I'm flying back out to my university. But if someone else wants to do it first, by all means do.

It's a bit improbable, since the 'bloids only explode because of simultaneous posts. The GW doesn't act a bit that way, since we're not speed-chatting and all. Still, saving the RP isn't a bad idea. We should do so, just in case.

Thanks, Aeri. ^_^ I added more detail to my response (although mostly because Kit's Roleplaying 101 thread made me feel iffy about the short length of my reply). EDIT: On an unrelated note, the number of pages in the actual RP now surpasses the number of OOC pages. Good job everyone! I'm seeing some awesome roleplaying so far. =D

Actually, the ninjas are after the artifact right now, specifically PFA and the others. Should take them a little while longer to get there, though. Ain't complaining about that, adds more probability to the big ninja-vs-pirate feud. But that doesn't mean neither of us gets the artifact x3 And on the topic of the roleplay going too fast, how'bout we, um, don't make it go too fast? As in, before you go type up a response, go read everything thoroughly, devise your answer on that, and iron out any plotholes your post might have so that you wouldn't have to edit later? That way there wouldn't be a bloid-type highway of posts popping up every other minute. We're not in a hurry here. ...'course, that'll be a leetle tricky if the roleplay is going so fast that everyone's primary concern is to churn out a reply fast so that they wouldn't get ninja'd and consequently, wouldn't get plothole'd. Vicious circle, innit?

Vicious circle, innit? IMO, everyone's been doing that. It's just that even with every precaution taken (give or take some minor slip-outs), this is as slow as the RP can go. Partially, I blame it on how we all are so separated from each other that it looks like we've done so much in just a span of an hour. I mean, there's a group not too far from the Ninja Guild, another one on the border of the Mages and the Spacefleets, another group just near the Mercs Guild, and some cases of isolated beings. It cannot be avoided that all of them make their actions at the same time, given their position.

[glow=red,2,300]Don't make fun of my entrance, I waited five pages to enter like that. XD Sorry for the delay, but trust me when I say it hurt me more than it hurt you. XD
EDIT: Yes, I put Kit's RPing guide to shame. T_T[/glow]

XD EDIT: Yes, I put Kit's RPing guide to shame. T_T[/glow] xD ..*hugs Rider* Don't worry about my guide, really. It wasn't meant for GW2; partly because GW2 is more of a mix between a massively-collaborated story, a interactive story and a good dash of the 'bloids rather than a true roleplay. For one, a roleplay that had as many characters and locations as GW2 does would be handled differently. That and GW2 is more plot-centric than a roleplay should be. Not to mention that it lacks the serious undertone of a true roleplay. Ultimately, just have fun in GW2 and don't worry too much about roleplaying technicalities. <3

Well, the more separated, the better xD If we were all in one place, it'd probably end in page-long posts of everyone trying to respond to everything relevant. There's just so incredibly many of us. And an hour? I was under the impression of half an hour at most xD Rider, love you xD And waiting for entrance is good. Ofcourse, popping out of the bushes going LOL HAI GUYZ at a random moment would be just as good - never was into deep n' solemn roleplays, really - but this works x3
