XD; It's putting a time pocket around the falling peoples that makes them fall slower. And that last post was made just before I had to rush off to bed anyway, thus I didn't want to take too long writing it. >_> I'll probably actually have him hit the ground in my next post, though. ... I have a Kougra who can cast spells, a mage who fancies purple things, a former pirate captain and another mage who is able to heal my enemies. Not to mention a bloody back and hand. >.> I'm sorry, but I can't help laughing because of the outnumberedness. XD D: *sneaks around and puts up ninja recruitment posters* >_> |

PFA - I would expect that a tree trunk would be better at slowing your fall than a sail on a ship. Although, depending on the type of tree, it might be pretty hard to get a good enough stab in it. Or you might just be able to get it in, but not be able to hang onto the dagger before falling to your death. PFA - I would expect that a tree trunk would be better at slowing your fall than a sail on a ship. Although, depending on the type of tree, it might be pretty hard to get a good enough stab in it. Or you might just be able to get it in, but not be able to hang onto the dagger before falling to your death. Actually, what I think she's saying is that the sails were made of multiple sheets of cloth, and when they got to the seems, which had a few layers, the knife would stop cutting the sail and the test person would fall to the net, no matter how sharp the knife was or how firmly they held the knife. And if a knife can't cut through the seems of a sail, how is it going to cut through a tree? |
