Ooh, neat. I like how it's soft and simple and stays in the background, it sounds good. And the way it slows down and then suddenly gets faster when the (shadow) ninjas appear is good. ^_^

Yeah, it sounds like the tempo might be a little bit fast for the speed of the movie. If you slow it down a little it might be more in-sync.
Or maybe you could continue the music for just one or two more measures, so that there's some music through the whole 'it is time... to truly be knights' scene.

I don't really wanna mess with the tempo, because that first bit syncs really nicely and I don't really wanna mess that up.  ; I can resync the actual movie a little, but I can't do too much with it, unfortunately... EDIT: Well, I tried making the music a bit longer and doing a bit of resyncing. I like the resyncing/added measure, it works well! Maybe you could take off a beat from the 2nd-to-last note to make the last note line up with "Guild Wars: The Movie."
The funny thing is, the slow section had another part with it, but I messed up in writing it down, and it sounds much cooler this way. XD

Well, I went ahead and updated the trailer on dA. You can see it in all its spiffiness now. And the next script might be coming soon.  And... I need more voice clips. *hides* Sorry, but it's hard to animate stuff when you don't have the sound.  |

Um, I can animate some bits without any dialogue in it... and I could animate the characters if I wanted, but I'd rather not, because I don't know exactly how the clip would be said. It's kinda hard to explain, I guess... Ooh, and I went on a scripting spree today and finished this. I warn you, it's really long. IKKIN: Where is Fj0rd? More importantly, where's Shino?
SHADOW: There is no time! We must fight!
IKKIN: This is bad... Sev! Go warn the knights of this!
SEV: I'm on it.
SHADOW: Do not just stand idly, Ikkin! We must get rid of these shadows!
IKKIN: I'm on it!
((scene changes to show Tirilia))
TIRILIA: Ealosuyn adoyn rywaous nesqa iuyns!
((Tirilia turns undead-ified))
TIRILIA: Shadow! The others do not share our abilities. We must help them, together!
SHADOW: You cannot kill these shadows, Tirilia. You can dissipate them for a while, but they will return. You must break their curse and free them!
((Shadow covers Tirilia in mist))
SHADOW: Your armor can't stop their shadow magic... but this mist can. If you can ignore the foul smell of it, then you must get out as soon as you can!
TIRILIA: I am not leaving, Shadow. It is my duty as a knight to protect the people. Right now, the lives of those here at the town square are in need of protection. And I will uphold my duty.
SHADOW: Hmm. How bold. I will fight with you. I can try to persuade them.
((Shadow hops into Tirilia's shadow))
TIRILIA: Thank you, Shadow. I will do what I can.
((Tiri casts her spell and scene changes to show a shadow ninja approaching Salah))
SALAH: Aah! Uh...
((Salah makes a light sword))
SALAH: Hah! Bet you weren't expecting... that?
((Shadow ninja gets killed from Tiri's spell thing))
SALAH: Did I do that?
SHADOW: Everyone! Watch out for your shadows!
SALAH: ...Good thing I don't have a shadow. I've been hiding mine for years...
((shadow ninja sneaks up and attacks Salah))
SALAH: Huh? AAH!
((shadow ninja pauses in midair for a while, then disappears))
SALAH: ...Oh. Scar?
SCAR: You didn't think I'd abandoned ya guys, did ya? Come on! Let's get these shadows!
SALAH: Right!
((scene changes to show Kit coming back to Castle Kestrel))
KIT: Looks like we are home at last.
MAYA: Kit... something's wrong. There's an eerie sensation in the air.
KIT: I feel it, too... what is it?
MAYA: It seems to be coming from Tabloid Town...
KIT: Perhaps we should check it out...
((scene changes to the knights waiting in Castle Kestrel))
PYRO: Now neither the Scarlet Knight nor the White Knight are back...
TAMIA: What's taking them so long?
((Sev poofs in))
SEV: Guys! A bunch of shadows just showed up at Tabloid Town, and they're attacking everyone! You've got to come quick!
((Sev poofs off))
PYRO: What?!
TAMIA: Sir Shino and Lady Tirilia could be in trouble!
PYRO: So how do we get to Tabloid Town? We can't go by foot...
ZARI: Well, I have a dragon you could ride...
PYRO: A dragon?
TAMIA: That would... work.
ZARI: He's safe, don't worry. He's out in the fields, if you would like to ride him.
ZAHA: We have a much faster way of travel, however. We will see you at Tabloid Town.
((Zari and Zaha poof off))
PYRO: Well... I've never riden a dragon before. This should be interesting...
TAMIA: Come on, let's get to the grounds!
PYRO: Right!
((The two knights run off. Scene changes to Rider fighting shadows))
RIDER: Gah, here we are yelling at that traitor Shino, and now here we are fighting shadow things... at least they're shaped like ninjas; they're funner to hit that way.
((Rider totally pwns a shadow ninja. She grins, gloating for a bit))
RIDER: Hah! Pirates totally own ninjas...
((Rider's gloating turns out to be a mistake, as a shadow sneaks up behind her and pwns her, knocking her out for the next several scripts. Scene change to Ikkin fighting))
IKKIN: Ah! These shadows are everywhere...
((Ikkin spots Fj0rd and runs over to her))
IKKIN: Fj0rd, why did he... the knights thought he could be trusted!
FJ0RD: So did the ninja, 'til he did this. What are these things, anyway?
IKKIN: Shadow beings, according to Shadow. It must have taken a huge amount of power to create them... I didn't know Shino was this powerful!
FJ0RD: I did not think he was, either. This quite impressive, to say the least...
((pause of looking over the shadow ninjas))
FJ0RD: It goes against most of what I've ever been taught, fighting against other ninja. But in this case... I suppose I have no choice. Time to wade into battle again, then?
IKKIN: Like you said... it seems we have no choice.
((scene changes to Zari and Zaha poofing into the battle))
ZARI: Whoa! It really is bad...
((Zaha draws her sword))
ZAHA: It seems we must fight them.
((Zari readies her staff))
ZARI: Indeed!
((scene changes to Ikkin fighting and Shadow coming up to her. Shadow mists Ikkin))
SHADOW: Ikkin! This mist will protect you long enough to get out of here. GO! I will follow as soon as-- aah!
IKKIN: Shadow!
SHADOW: The mist won't last long... GO!
IKKIN: ...Right!
((scene changes to Tirilia fighting))
TIRILIA: Shadow's mist is fading... that means my protection from these shadows is, also. Augh! There must be some easier way to get rid of these shadows... Wait! That's it!
((scene changes to show Salah fighting))
TIRILIA: Mages! Cover the square in light! Remove all the shadows!
SALAH: If you say so...
((Salah pulls the light out of empty spaces and surrounds the area with as much light as she can))
SALAH: Aah! I need... more light!
((Keng runs up))
KENG: Hey, nice night light trick you've got here. Hope ye don't mind if I join ya.
SALAH: No, I don't mind... hey, is there any chance that you, or one of your guild, could make a fire? Or some source of light... it would be pretty helpful.
KENG: Yeh, I'll see what I can do...
((Keng uses her bandana, vest, sword and some gunpowder to make a fire))
KENG: How's that?
SALAH: That's great, thanks...
((Salah concentrates and adds the fire's light to the big sphere of light thing))
SCAR: Great job, Salah! I'll keep them at bay!
((Scar time warps another shadow))
SALAH: Be careful!
((scene changes to Tamia and Pyro at the grounds))
TAMIA: Wow. There... really is a dragon.
PYRO: Um... hi. You're... Lady Zari's dragon, right?
DUSK: Indeed. Mine name is Dusk.
PYRO: Hello, Dusk. Um, Lady Zari has departed for Tabloid Town, and we must accompany her. You see, there is some trouble with the guilds, so the knights need to get there, and soon. Can you... fly us there? Your help would be most appreciated...
DUSK: Hmm. Very well, I will carry thee knights to thy destination. Thou mayest climb upon me, and if it be thy wish, my wings shalt bring thee there.
TAMIA: Thank you, really. Come on, Lady Pyro. Let's go.
((scene changes to Kit arriving at Tabloid Town))
MAYA: This looks really bad...
KIT: What happened?
MAYA: Kit... I think we need to find Shino.
((Kit gets a clarovoyance-flashback of what happened))
KIT: ...You're right. He has some explaining to do.
((Kit summons Bennu))
KIT: Bennu, heart soul of Ra, the Guide of the Gods to the Akert, take me to Sir Shino.
((Bennu teleports Kit to where Shino is))
IKKIN: What was that? I sense phoenix magic...
((Sev poofs in))
IKKIN: There you are, Sev! Can you take me to where that phoenix went?
SEV: *sigh* Do you know how hard it is to follow trails like that?
((Sev poofs Ikkin over to where Kit went))
FJ0RD: Where did Ikkin go? ...Wait, she probably went after Shino... oh no! Shino's abilities... I must warn her!
((Fj0rd starts running off to find Ikkin, Shadow notices))
SHADOW: Fj0rd. Ikkin and Kit are with Shino in the northwest corner of Tabloid Town.
FJ0RD: Northwest corner... thanks, Shadow.
SHADOW: Come on, I will meet you there.
FJ0RD: Indeed.
((Shadow shadows off. Fj0rd starts toward where Shino is. Kat notices Fj0rd))
KAT: Where's Fj0rd going?
ZAHA: I think they have found Shino. We must follow them.
((Zaha poofs off))

Ooh, I found a scene I can animate. And also some backgrounds someone can draw. I need some good backgrounds of the Ninja HQ; at least one from outside would be nice. Probably some of Castle Kestrel and Mage Manor, too. |
