Male: :/ The colours clash to me. Pretty blue skin and multi-tone brown clothing? O.o The locket is nice, though, as well as the helmet.
Female: Awesome. ^^ All the purplepinks go together so well. She seems frilly, but not totally vapid like some royalgirls. She looks...wise, and the anklets are pwn. :3

Initially, I thought that they looked strange, but it actually looks awesome. With those Tyrannian like crowns, they do look like wise creatures.

Wooow.... *_* *gazes at them for a full minute* I'm in love with them both. <3 I think the male does look good with the colours. I also love the leopard-print collar with the spikes.  The crown and the cloak are awesome too. The female... Bigger wow. @_@ They combined the browns and pinks with the feathers perfectly, and the necklaces and bracelets are that finishing touch. Tell me, would anyone at all want royal pets to stand on two legs if they all looked like this? |

They're nice. ^_^ I agree, they would be good if you did the repaint after getting the clothes, but the male especially...I don't much like the colors together. XD But with another color, that'd be pwn. =D

I really like them. They're interesting and not overly obvious, like some of the other colors have been, yet they suit the pets at the same time.

I love them both; best colors TNT's made for a while.
The male is my favorite. I love the cyan color and the clothing; the clothing doesn't match that well, but still, it's awesome.
Maybe.
Sadly, though, few royal pest do look like this, and in my humble opinion, TNT slaughtered the existing royal pets with the redraws. Especially the male kougra and both poogles.

I agree. My friend always wanted a girl one. She quit neopets when she saw what they'd become.
And the male ones just look like blue aishas. I can see them getting overlooked in the pound, since they won't have any clothes...
As much as I love to customise, I don't think TNT worked hard enough on converting the artwork. Some pets (faerie, royal, darigan) leave something to be desired. I get the impression TNT was in a hurry...

Personally, i think why most pets dont look as good, is because they want it to be customizable, and they want the easiest way to customize it, so if it doesnt look too good, sorry. =(
But not -all- Royal pets got a horrible remake. In fact, I just got a Royal Draik a few days ago, and i think they got an upgrade. Basically on human preference. Some people like them, some people don't. TNT can't please everyone sadly.
Now, moving on to the colours..
Personally, I honestly don't think that it's worth the 1.75 million NP to get the brush for this color. =( If it was cheaper, or you could get it through the lab, sure.
But that's me, but Chombies and Tyrannia are stone age so meh. xD Girl one looks best out of both, but yeah. =/ Too bad there wasnt another color for the Chombies either.

Most Royals look better after the redraw, and I think that these chomby's needed to be done now, after the change.
