Hmm... now that I've seen the old design again, I can see where the varied opinions are coming from. I... I... I like them both. ;__; I remember the old one now; I was impressed by that one too. Personally, I don't know why they chose to revamp this pet, and not one of the others, like the mutant Aisha or Halloween Nimmo.

I think your idea is a good one, Huntress... I've never particularily liked the Halloween gelert, but since most Halloween pets are already "dressed up" as something in specific, I'd be scared that TNT would still revamp the old design to make him look more like a were-gelert.

I liked the older one more too. Better colors. This one just blends in like the Mutant Ruki, Koi, and Gnorbu. Except those three had a cooler look. It's ok, but not that interesting.

I liked the old one too, but it's possible they had to pull it because of similarities to some other character out there, and they didn't want any copyright enfrigement cases to pop up.

... I say this only because the old one keeps reminding me of Garurumon.

Someone said when they first made the old one that it looked like Fenrir Greyback from HP, and ever since then, that's all I see in it. XD

Aww, they're both good characters... the old one looks a lot more shaggy and drooling and desperate, like it'll leap at you without incentive or warning; it just looks like it hates everything and wants to tear the world apart. Creepy. The new one looks hyena-ish, but I think it looks more beaten than scary, like a dog who's been kicked so many times that now he's wary of everyone.

I think I like the old one better, actually. I prefer the colors. ;_;

TNT is actually making the mutants look well....mutant. The older mutants (Moeho, Shoyru, Kiko, Blumaroo) all look quite plain. All of the newer mutants have more detail and personality. I luff the gelert, but the ears are a bit weird. They're like tails on its head.
