It's the next day now. Lutari Day is over.
Did they carry over giving out Hissis? Because there are well over 100,000 Hissis released freely in Neopia, and they offer a mere 5,000 of Lutaris to be released in Neopia? How much could these Lutaris have to do with money, that they will let their numbers nearly rival the Krawk?
The Lutari has to be the most scarce LE pet ever. But why is it so scarce?

But why is it so scarce? *shakes head* They did not give out 100,000 Hissis on Hissi day. As I recall, only about 7,000 were released the first day. TNT sometimes releases them randomly, either announced on the news or not.

TNT sometimes releases them randomly, either announced on the news or not. I've got some staking out to do then. Does anyone know if and when they announced the other Hissi releasings? Was it, like, over the weekend of Hissi Day? Because if so, and if history repeats itself... I'm headed off to try and restock myself a Lutari.

When you go to the page where you abandon Neopets to the pound a Lutari will have this message under its picture: "Caution! Lutaris are not fond of being abandoned! Don't count on them entering the pound!" I wondered what exactly this meant - is it impossible to abandon a Lutari (let's put aside the fact that few people would want to anyway) or do they kinda vanish when you pound them.? Please clear this up, thx! ^_^ ~jeazard If you really want to abandon your poor Lutari, you can, but they will get extremely angry and run away rather than allowing themselves to be placed in the pound! Even if you assure them they are just going to your other account, they'll still run off. We're not quite sure where they go, but it's definitely not the pound. Makes me wonder...and we may never turly know!

I s'pose it means that once you abandon a Lutari, it just gets lost. Disappears off the face of Neopia. Interesting touch...

What is this fixation with Lutaris and cellphones? TNT has never said anything about that! It's probably just to keep them limited, which I personally appreciate. I'm sick of spending hundreds of thousands of NP on a pet and then someone else getting one from a friend. Or the scammers! This will prevent Lutari-selling scams. And there's probably a connection to the upcoming Lutari Island.

Most of the speculation came from that, but most of it is speculation.

I would rather have my draik dissapear forever then see it pounded and picked up by some n00b or hacker/AAer xD

I'm not sure if anyone has said this yet, as I am not reading replies, but I will: You are not able to "pound" the Lutari. Read in the editorial this week - When you go to the page where you abandon Neopets to the pound a Lutari will have this message under its picture: "Caution! Lutaris are not fond of being abandoned! Don't count on them entering the pound!" I wondered what exactly this meant - is it impossible to abandon a Lutari (let's put aside the fact that few people would want to anyway) or do they kinda vanish when you pound them.? Even if you assure them they are just going to your other account, they'll still run off. We're not quite sure where they go, but it's definitely not the pound. That's awesome, though. Lutaris are so cool, and so rare. I guess it discourages the idea of possibly losing them. I'm starting to want one. At first I didn't, but they're cute, and also rare. That's just me, I guess. I like the stuff a lot of people don't have. The end of this post. EDIT: Ok, so, this has been said, I see. I read. I will talk about it now, then. Someone say something. And maybe I'll be replying. o__o;

It was fun to see the Help Board explode. It was very fun. *nodnod* The poor Lutaris...I know where they went! They went to Lutari Island! I wonder if you can lab them...

Well, you can get them from the lab. I'm not sure anyone would venture a try at zapping them if they have one.

I want Lutari Island to hurry up and open so I can write a story starring Lute. (My new Lutari. I love saying that.) I suppose I could write one now as a mysterious refugee type thing.
