It's not so much that they look the same -- I think TNT did a great job of keeping them different enough to be seperate colours -- but that if Neo had released each colour under the other colour's name, it still would have made sense. eg) the vulture-ish Mutant Lenny would make sense being called the Tyrannian Lenny, and the Tyrannian one would be fine for a Mutant colour.I agree. Almost. Their designs would've been interchangable lineart-wise. But that sort of sandy brown color is pretty much reserved for Tyrannian, while Mutants usually have awful grays or greenish colors. But yeah, I can see where you're coming from.
Personally, I'm not fond of the Lenny. It's a wonderful design, but I'd never want one in a million years. Or a couple hundred billion... depending on when Neopia's prehistoric era was....
But that Gnorbu is super rad. The shading is just super, and yeah, that buzzsaw tail is so cooooooool!
These two pets sure have my vote of approval -- although I think this might spur some confusion with the Mutant and Tyrannian Lennies... they seem kind of interchangeable now, if you know what I mean.
