Let me put it this way: Of all the pets in Neopia, there are only two that I dislike. Of those two, this is the one I truly can't stand. (The other one is growing on me due to a large number of stories about it...) Until I find an Ogrin with some real personality, I will continue to dislike this pet. However, I stick with my original theory that I will get used to it.
There is no way I'm going to adopt one, though. >_<

You know, I want to like this. I really do. And I think it might grow on me. I didn't think much of the bori at first and now I love them. But it's just too many elements all stuffed onto one pet. Take one or two away (especially the mohawk, the ruff, and/or the stripes) and improve its anatomy just a bit and it would really be quite nice to look at.

I agree that TNT is rushing designs, and making them FAR too complex in an attempt to be original. There's something to be said for simplicity. The Kougra, Lupe, Shoyru and other favorite oldies are all fairly simple designs.

If they just removed something like the stripes, it would be so much nicer on the eyes, but they just threw too much stuff into one pet. He's kind of cute though, kind of. I just don't like it though.

I mean, the current Ogrin is much better than the shopkeepers, but I still hate the mohawk and dragon-like face, and wish it had hooves rather than paws. I mean, some of the April Fools pets were simple, but really nice- the Sharkaw, the original Lamameeah (the current one has the same problem as the Ogrin), and the Varwolf are all quite nice, and, in my opinion, much better than the Ogrin and the current Llama pet. And, TNT has been infamous for rejecting good pet designs- the Darigan Eyrie barely got through (and it's absolutely brilliant, in my opinion), and Shroomy's Desert Krawk really deserves to be a pet, but got rejected anyway. Sometimes, I wonder what TNT could possibly be thinking...

Ogrin = No-grin. I'm so lame... j:P
Seriously, I hate this pet. Even more than the Xweetok.The Llamameah has got to be my least favourite. I don't like the pet and the name's freakin' hard to spell! *goes into a rant about stupid pets*

:3 I like that this pet isn't so cutesy. I'm not fond of the stripes, so I can't wait to see the Darigan or Mutant version. <3

Ok, so Komori may be onto something with the possibility of darigan and mutant being cool but, I still overall think it's a bad attempt at making an original video game character. It's just another Ty the Tazmanian Tiger in my eyes.

Btw - both Meowth and I got our Ogrin pictures into the Art Gallery. =D *waves a happy flag*
I'm not terribly fond of the pet, but I'll give it some points as it got me another win.

I especially like that cat thing but I wasn't playing Neo at the time of April Fools so I don't remember what to call it or anything but it should be a pet XD And the Darigan Eyrie is totally pwnful! I lover it. I use to hate all things Darigan until that and now I'm plotting - I mean planning to get one ^^ My den of Eyries. Anyway while we're on the subject I'm mad about the Kougra changes. I love the original one that's why I originally got two. This new version is too cutesy and looks odd like they're trying too hard. The first one was wonderful! Now I'm ranting so... I'll shut up *dodges rotten vegatable*
