I just looked at the caption contest image at the start of this thread and realized that all the Lamameeahs in the picture have manes and spots.
I'm surprised I didn't notice that before...
I'm all for keeping the old Lamameeah. We certainly did not vote for this pet. I recall them saying that they were going to make minor adjustments to the winning pet, but why? It's fine as it is. It's a great design! Why must they mutate it and give it a mane and Chomby spots? They don't recognize a good design when they see it; instead it must be tweaked with unoriginal details so that they think it looks more "appealing".

  I love the new one. The old one had a really blank expression. Yeah, the mane's unneccesary, but I still love him. Especially with the spots. <3 |

I found the blank expression to be part of their charm.  Maybe the actual pet will look better than the shopkeepers, though. |
