I had my short story "Kip Vision" held over, so I'm crossing my fingers, eyes, and toes that it'll get in this week. ^^

Why was mine automatically accepted and not got the considered message at all, just out of curiosity. Sorry for asking here. Is it because I got the considering message last week but they didn't put it in last because it was Halloween? ^_^ Hehe. Anyways. Sorry if this question wasn't supposed to go here.

Getting the held notice means that I'm holding it off somewhere special for possible use, not just for the next issue. So if you get a held notice you don't need to resubmit it the next week.

Thank you for submitting to the Neopian Times. Currently your submission (Sanity Obsolete) is being held over and may be considered for future publication in the Neopian Times. There is no need to submit your submission again, as it is saved by the editor. I think that's for Sanity Obsolete... well, Peanuts is held-over already... Tooth Faerie Remake?

I. Just. Don't. Get. It. This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Me and Kat wrote an article colab back in July and sent it off then. Ever since then, we've been re-sending God knows how many times, and never once has it gotten a held over. I've PM'd Droplet a couple of times and she's never replied, have continually resubmitted and I never get a reply, so nothing works! This just sucks. I don't know what to do.

Let's try sending it again this Thursday. Then when it doesn't get a reply in 3-4 weeks, we keep sending it in. I've sent a comic collab with Choc several times before it finally got a held over. Psh, I've written a 10-part series nearly half a year ago and I've resent it loads of times without getting a held over (or even a rejection letter). C'mon, I'm not breaking the rules (the rules of NQII to be exact), right? ^^;

*hugs poor authors* So far I've sent in four pieces... And the acceptance was the only thing I heard from the NT. Been re-sending my stuff too... *pats Blub and Kat on the back* One of the pieces was a short story I wrote LAST SUMMER...

Dear Eri, Congratulations! Your entry (Kip Vision) has been selected to appear in a future issue of the Neopian Times. A shiny trophy has been added to your user lookup. Thank you for contributing to the Neopian Times! Ohemgee happy! *dances* I have a story that I've been sending in since the beginning of last May - it was supposed to be a "birthday present" for my sister because I was thinking of her the entire time that I wrote it and I always called it, "Vourtney Story" (The title is actually "Anonymous" though) Now it might work as a half birthday present. All I can say is just keep working at it - don't give up. ^^
