I used to love Neopets. And I think the NTWF used to be more focused on Neopets before too. But now, there's many more people who aren't interested in it. And I'll admit, I'm part of that group too. Therefore I move we eliminate the Neopia category of the NTWF. There's so many things that could be replaced with that waste of space.  For instance, may I suggest a category based on developing skills necessary for the real world? It could be called Vocation Station. =D We could find guest speakers to come and talk about why they chose the occupation they did, and what you'll need to do to become one. I for one know a very kind old garbageman willing to tell his story. ^_^ We'd need to change the name of the forum, too, though...I rather like The Educational Forum. Since there would be no more "Neopian" or "Times" or "Writer's"...that'd be my vote. =) TEF has a nice ring to it. |

It was great back in the day when we all actually played Neopets, but really now...
I haven't played Neopets in ages, and I know a lot of others don't either...
In fact, the good majority of activity is on the non-Neopets boards like Splatterboard.
Maybe just turn the Neopets boards into a "The World" board where people can talk about anything. I think the Neopets part of this forum has outstayed its welcome.
Maybe we can claikm the "NT" in NTWF means something else?

Oh...I just remembered that the URL to our forum is ntwriters...so we'd probably have to close down and restart somewhere else, were we to rename it. But that's okay. It'd weed out the people who are too lazy/inactive to come along, and we'd only have the good members.

At least leave it as a subboard on Off Topic, I need to get my plot steps from somewhere. I have to admit that other than that, the Neopets-related boards don't get the same amount of activity they used to. And we always weed out the inactive boards, do we not? |
