A 'bloid is locked once it hits 150 pages. At that time, we're able to make a new 'bloid. People sometimes race to create it first.

When a new 'bloid is created, then I believe that Tabloid Town is locked for new threads. Once the current active 'bloid hits 150 pages, then it's open for new threads to be made -- but only one. Once that thread is made, submissions lock down again. This prevents multiple threads from appearing. |

You have to use the general system that's used with the 'bloids. For info, look at the first post of this 'bloid, and the first page of the first 'bloid on record in the back of Tabloid Town.
