I learned recorder before learning flute for that reason. xD ..and of course not. String instruments are a whole different category, and one that I'll never venture to. Yes, I didn't expect it to. xD Not even the same clef most of the time. But nice because I think it taught me to read treble clef...not that I remember very clearly now. I think I was six. xD I have no idea how to read bass clef. I'm sort of curious about it, but not enough so to learn it. |

I remember how to play a D note. End. xD Which D? The one right above middle C or the one an octave above that? The one where you close all the holes 'cept the last one, if I remember correctly. It's been a decade since then, so yeah. |

Really? XDDD Reve and Sam- Cookies, you say?  Yes. Expensive cookies. @___@ You should really try Storytelling though. ^__^ It's really fun. And terribly addicting. XD Even if you don't get in, it's a great way to practice your writing. And when you do win, you can gloat. Andgloatandgloatandgloat. @___@ It's annoyingly ironic though. But fun. ^__^ I love it <3 I should. I usually only notice it's out when there's already like five story chunks up, though. And then I get too lazy to read through it all. >_> ...Thus I want to see if I can get to it when it first comes out. |

Middle C is all the holes covered, by the way. xD ..and from there you can sort of cheat and go up a note with each hole uncovered until you get to B, which is thumb and first finger of left hand covering holes. xD ..that's the cheaty fingering for F, though. Which is off, but fairly close, at least. |
