Do you want to sweep? =D! XD. I loved that book when I was little, I had a mouse cookie cutter. *delayed response* It was one of my favorite books, too. Along with "Oh, The Places You'll Go," "The Little Blue Engine That Could," and "Stellaluna." OMG.STELLALUNA! That was the book I gave my class for my birthday in kindergarden! ^^ |

*delayed response* It was one of my favorite books, too. Along with "Oh, The Places You'll Go," "The Little Blue Engine That Could," and "Stellaluna." OMG.STELLALUNA! That was the book I gave my class for my birthday in kindergarden! ^^ That was the book that made my love for bats grow even more. Or it may have started it... I don't remember. I've got a little Stellaluna finger puppet, as well as a Stellaluna plushie. Not to mention a copy of the book itself. ^_^ |

Bats are awesome. ^_^ Tamia also likes them, I believe. If you haven't, you should read the Silverwing series by Kenneth Oppel. =D ... Another contributing factor to my obsession. |

It's a story about a baby fruit bat who gets separated from her mother by an owl. Stellaluna falls into a nest of baby birds, and ends up being raised by them. She's taught how to stand on a branch like a bird, to eat bugs, and to shed her nocturnal ways. Eventually, she leaves the nest, and is reunited with her mother. |

Oh, come now... There are only a few species of bats that actually drink blood (out of thousands of species). And they don't really like to drink human blood, since it's more trouble for them to get.
