Please? I'll take good care of them. I promise. xD Find a way to trade dreams, then. We could modify the trans-pacific porcupine, so that it channels dreams too.

Could anyone here answer a question about armor?
I'm making up another D&D character for the fun of it. One of the options for armor was 'studded leather armor', which I gave him. I want to draw a character picture, but I realized that I don't know what studded leather armor would look like. The dictionary just says that a stud is a 'a large-headed piece of metal that pierces and projects from a surface'. I don't know if 'large-headed' would mean it's small but protrudes quite a bit, wide and covers a fair amount of area, or either-or (and there was no entry in my dictionary). I tried Wikipedia, but all a found were a few references in passing and some not-very-helpful pictures.
So would studded leather have a bunch of small pieces of metal in a pattern that covers most-to-all of the surface of the armor, a few big pieces of metal that covers key parts of the armor, or a combination thereof?
Anybody?
