Um, can some of you guys review some part of my story, 'Nameless'? ^^
Snowy Days
Mollyra looked outside her window and gasped excitedly. Tiny snowflakes, like a million of tiny white Weewoo feathers, floated lazily down from the sky and landed on the ground, silently and discreetly as if to not let others know that they were there. Molly inhaled the cold, crisp air and giggled. Winter was her most favorite season – next to spring, summer and fall, of course – and she always looked forward to it. For if it was winter, it could only mean one thing – Christmastime was near.
Ecstatically, the young Cybunny hopped off of the top bunk of the bed and sneaked beside the bottom bunk where a yellow Bori a lot older than her was reading.
“ Psst! Roxas!” Molly whispered to the Bori. “Roxas!”
Roxas looked up from his book to see Molly’s flustered, animated look. “What is it, Molly?” he sighed, looking at the younger person with a bored look on his face. Molly immediately started pulling Roxas off from his bunk. “You gotta see this!” Molly grinned at her companion. She looked around and, with the face of an excited Puppyblew playing fetch in the summertime, lowered her voice to barely a whisper.
“It’s snowing.”
Roxas instantly jumped up from his bored position. “Really?” he exclaimed, a hint of excitement glimmering in his sapphire-blue eyes. Molly nodded. Roxas then bolted out from his bunk and pressed himself against the windowpane. Outside, the streets were covered in white and the lamppost’s light flickered and blinked.
“Wow,” Roxas breathed, looking in awe at the snowy outdoors. Molly went up beside him and peeked through the snowy windowpane. How wonderful it looked outside! Winter never looked so beautiful.
Molly sighed and stared dreamily at the tiny slivers of white leisurely drifted down onto the sidewalk. Something on the road caught Molly’s eye. A young Lupe, together with his mother, walked homeward hand in hand. The Cybunny, after seeing this, frowned and looked at Roxas. “Are we gonna remain orphans forever, Roxas?” she asked the older one, her eyes poignant. Roxas sighed heavily and ruffled Molly’s hair. “No we’re not,” the Bori reassured her. “I’m pretty sure soon, we’re all gonna get adopted by a loving family. Just think that we will.” He gave her a brotherly smile, but Molly wasn’t so convinced. She just sighed again and watched as the snowflakes fell down outside the orphanage walls.

^^ Aww, it's a nice story so far. I like it! ^_^ I felt a few parts sounded a bit awkward, though. Like when you say 'most favorite' I'd just say favorite. Or maybe instead of "A young Lupe, together with his mother" phrase it like "A young Lupe and his mother" or "A young Lupe with his mother" I don't know... it might be a question of preference, though, so don't feel like you should change it. ^^; I'm not so good at reviews. XD; |
