Hey Omni, just the person I'm looking for! Any idea how I can connect to a server from my Mac? Obviously Go > Connect to server. I'm trying to get on to, I guess, an FTP server... I'm not really sure, I haven't done it myself. My guess is that you enter either the URL, or the IP address, and then click either 'browse' or 'connect'. I think Apple had something about it on their site. *goes to look* You'd think, but it says it can't connect  |

I think Apple had something about it on their site. *goes to look* You'd think, but it says it can't connect Hmm... I can't seem to find anything about it on the Apple site, save for a few Misc. Applications, which I'm not sure if they're for this kind of thing or not. I found a Mac Help file titled "Connecting to a WebDAV server", but that basically says to do what I just suggested.  You said an FTP server, right? *looks at your post a page back* Yup. So do you mean a network server, or an internet server? If it's a network server, you should be able to get there from Go > Network. If it's an internet server... I'm really not sure, unless you can get there in Safari. |
