Frankly, I think this whole thing is a bit silly on both sides, and neither side is really more deserving of moderator support. Stealing the creation of a Bloids from someone who's waiting for it isn't nice, but it's also not against the rules and I can't really be using my moderator powers for that. And the "first come, first serve" thing is actually quite loose and not a set-in-stone rule.
But, in the interests of making it clear that I'm not partial to either side... the War thread is the new Tabloids. =3 Let's see if we can turn this mess into something more Tabloidical, okay? ^^;
