*tackleglomps you too* I'm taking psychology now- the teacher is kinda boring, but it's a very interesting class. Psychology interests me. And I'm doing a class that is specifically Child Phych. I know the teacher and she's really energetic, so I won't have the same problem as you. But at least the class is interesting? Oh, that's pretty cool. Well one of the reasons the teacher isn't that interesting is we're going over things that we already know like basic statistics and basic neurobiology- the new things we're learning are all very interesting. I want to understand people. And our book contains the best quote of all time: "They couldn't hit an elephant at this distance," which are the last words of John Sedgewick in a Civil War battle, immediately before he was fatally shot in the head. |

That, plus I just couldn't take psychology because with the teacher I had, it was basically just cramming all these facts into your brain. Which is just what all my other classes are, so I need a couple of classes where I can chill out and be creative. ^^ ... but I mean, psychology is fascinating. I really want to take it at some point, just to learn about everything, but it just won't work for me this year with the schedule I've got. That makes complete sense. And I hate how many good classes there are that I want to take, but I don't have enough time to take. I hope you get the chance to. Yeah... I might have to wait until college for some of them. =/ Like psychology, sadly. But someday. Someday I will learn about everything in the entire world that interests me (which is everything)! ... and now I go. Goodnight, Kitty, goodnight everyone. *sneaks off* |
