Because people like you more than me? XD
Don't know. Don't care. *shrugs*
My phone only has about 5 MB of internal memory. And that's shared, so other things take it up, too. But I'm not using all of it. And as long as I don't take the SD card out too often, then I can just use that to store more things on (if I do take it out, and an active ringtone is in on that memory, it'll revert to either default or nothing at all).
Anyway, to check your memory, usually you can go to Menu -> Settings -> Phone Settings -> Check Memory. You can find out how much it has and how much is free through there.

Memory Status Available 11316KB Picture messages 2194 KB Fun & Apps 2946KB ...

That's still about 10 MB. That's not bad at all for a phone. Usually when you edit down the song you're going to use for the tone, it'll be under 1 MB. And if you have the cable, you can go in and transfer them in and out and so forth.
I had to but the Micro SD card (and adapters) as an accessory to my phone, but it's paid for itself since I no longer have to buy and download ringtones, but just make my own. Especially since the purchased ones don't transfer to other phones (unless you have the cable/card, in which case, you may as well use it anyway)
I was doing some checking, though. The package you're looking for is sold through Samsung for $80 (those cables/software are extremely expensive when purchased from the company). The software is not compatible with Mac OS, sadly. So you'd need to be able to plug it into a PC.
And you need the software, from the looks of it, if you really want to manage your phone the way we're talking. Otherwise the cable itself isn't too much but like an external modem and such. The software probably includes the right drivers to manage the phone. Ebay would be a good resource, I think.

*enters* Homework is done! Of course, I still have to do something that looks responsible for college. But that's beside the point.

All I want to do is put mp3's on the phone for ringtone usage, nothing extremely major... <_< So the cable costs double what the phone cost?

This conversation reminds me that my mother has yet to send in the rebate for my cell phone.

Like I said, eBay is awesome. And yeah, I could IP ban you and set it to expire in a few days, or just delete the ban altogether.

So even though I went through the great sacrifice of listening to your signature, you won't listen to my signature if I change it? D: How could you be so cruel?! And because the main thing of your quoterator says that you have 100 quotes and a picture of Spot. I have yet to see a picture of Spot, and I don't think I've seen 100 quotes. Edit- of course, after I type that, I see a picture of Spot. XD
