Um... Discworld books Watership Down Good Omens Evil Genius any book by Dave Barry. Squiesh- Well, if they come around again, you can pick up with the music. *gives an Oreo in advance* Good recommendations... but I only know the first three. Terry Pratchett is a genius, and Watership Down was brilliant. If you'd allow me to add to that, though, I'd recommend His Dark Materials, by Philip Pullman, and Garth Nix's books, Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen (I can't remember the name of the actual series). They're not that well known, but they're well worth checking out. Yes, Terry Pratchett is a genius. Dark Materials and the Abhorsen books are pretty well known, I thought. Of course, I could be wrong. And yeah, the Abhorsen books are good too- His Dark Materials ended up annoying me ultimately.

I was going to get those on two non-consecutive occasions but both times the first volume had been checked out and I can't start a series from anywhere but the first book. I just can't. XDD

I want a shapeshifting talking animal thing following me around. ^_^ The movie should be cool.
