I should be happy about the way it ended, but... *beats on Crystal with the Stal/Spot club, then makes her look like Axel and sticks her in one of Xiv's stories*

Terry Pratchett is a genius, and Watership Down was brilliant. If you'd allow me to add to that, though, I'd recommend His Dark Materials, by Philip Pullman, and Garth Nix's books, Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen (I can't remember the name of the actual series). They're not that well known, but they're well worth checking out. |
