Try Akido or Hapkido, those are fun. My dad's teaching me some Akido stuff. Sounds like fun. I'm getting ready to take a Drawing Manga class up at the Art Center I can't find Akido on Wiki but Hapkido looks cool C: I've never heard of it before, either. I'll keep an eye out for classes in it or something, Bristol's a pretty dynamic city. Thanks! That class sounds cool ^__^ I don't really read or watch enough manga/anime to want to draw it myself though, but FMA and a few others are pretty awesome.[/qoute] I might be spelling it wrong, I don't know. Its almost the opposite of Tae Kwon Do. TKD is more feet, Akido is more hand and using your opponent's weight against them. Its fun. No prob, happy to help! I think its fun, I want to learn about shading and stuff like that, I'm a fair manga artist *pokes DA* I could be better though. Thanks Stally! I knew I spelled it wrong

Try Aikido, Nick. That ought to be what you're looking for. The first thing that leapt out at me when I opened that article was the stuff about developing ki and how it's also partially his philosophy. D: As graceful and useful as physical training and "using-another's-force-against-them" thing is it's not so appealing as things like TKD... which doesn't delve so far into that, at least as far as I know. o__o I think. Maybe. It's the sort of thing I'd watch a tournament of but rather sit out of. :3

Thats true, but I'd rather deflect my attacker and get away, then injure him and then get into trouble.

I took a couple minor lessons in the Aikido club down here. Learned some neat arm twists for people who grab me. XD But yeah, I know what you mean.

C: I know how far to go before judges would turn against me! Heck, I could become a veritable vigilante superhero of the streets... LAW LLB HONS MAN! It has a ring to it. ^__^ C: I think I'll start browsing Bristol websites to see what's available, rather than deciding what I want to do and discovering I can't do it.
