What the heck?! Did I scare the living daylights out of those who just logged out at the time I posted?! People logged out just as you posted? If is was almost all of them, then that's just a glitch.

Meh. It's probably in real life. People tend to ignore me, even if I am stating/doing/making something very important for them. I tend to try and get attention because of that. Heh, want to know a secret? I'm one of those invisible people IRL... ^_^ But I think, even though it's hard, you should try not to compare yourself to others. And attention... well, that's really subjective. You can choose to be sad because 4/5 people ignored you, or be happy because one of them said hi. ^^ I know it's a bad example, but I hope you get what I'm trying to say...

Aww, I'm just a slow poster. D= Now you don't see my post... Well... No, I haven't logged out yet. You have a point on your last post... But when it comes to attention, I don't seem to get contented. I get attention for seconds, then I lose it. After a while, I'm craving for more. Whether in real-life or in the internet, I always act like this. I blame my real-life experiences.

It makes you feel good about yourself, because deep down we all like attention, and need it. And other people will surely do the same for you. ^_^

I mean, I've been doing this the whole time, yet I don't seem to receive anything. Maybe it's the fact that I sometimes give bad attention.

Speaking of bad experiences, I can still remember the time when I was a toddler... My housemaid would always spank me for no reason whatsoever... And it gets worse when I did something.
One time, I saw a broken cassette tape on the ground. I picked it up, and my housemaid saw me. It was her cassette tape. I got a hard hit from the iron (the appliance, mind you) for being the one who destroyed her tape.
I was always told to shut up when my parents come, so that she won't get arrested for child abuse. Since then, I'd always wanted to get my parent's attention without telling them anything (mostly because I wanted them to know the many abuses my housemaid did to me).
To top it all, the whole thing went for four months!

Well, I don't exactly believe in karma, so I wouldn't say because of that, but I believe there are more good people in the world than bad, so there must be people willing to give unconditional attention, and you should meet them at some point. ^^ And... maybe I'm a hopeless optimistic, but you can't really say you don't get anything. A lot of people here at the NTWF pays attention to what you post. If you've been ignored before, well, everyone has, and that couldn't be more true. But you have gotten attention too, and that's true too.

T_T Not right at all... I'm sorry. *hugs* Again I don't know what to say, but if talking about it helps you, I'll listen.

But since you insist) I've experienced the same concept of this when I was in high school... I was a sophomore, yet I wasn't very tall (I haven't got my growth spurt at that time). I was always bullied by almost everyone (out of 37 of my classmates, only four are my friends). The same concept here is that they were telling me to hide the wounds I got from their bullying when I got home. I was always hinting my parents that something is wrong in school, but I never tell them straight to the point. Never was that problem solved. EDIT: Aw, Ginz is offline
