I should point out that the special breeds are off-limits for me. I don't have the specific CDs/DVDs that give those. (and the subcode data thing doesn't work with DVDs, so no luck there)

I guess I could do that. I can mix my Ryulon (Tiger/Mogi) with my EvilBeak (Raiden/Gitan) and hope to get something good...

Monster Rancher is winner.
MR1 and MR2 were classics.
MR3 was a sad sequel...
MR4 is much better than 3, but has still strayed so far away from the original 2.

Monols were big slabs. They were in MR and MR2, but ever since they were left out of MR3, they haven't come back </3

I never really liked the Monster-Rancher anime....mostly because it was so different than the games. XDXD
