Ask for money, then use that to buy the Wii. ...though, that does depend on who's getting you the present... Parents. Because they love me and want me to be happy and get me stuff, and nothing like an impending 21st birthday or anything... <.<

...for some reason, I keep thinking of Spot as Leoness with that av. I have absolutely no idea why. XD *random* She's used plenty of Garfield avs before, which is probably why you think that. <.< *falls on top of Spot* I haven't changed my avy in a while, so I confused myself by switching it. >.>; Ooof. x_@ Bweeheeheee! *MEGAHUG*

XD Would they be the type to not want you to just ask for money?

There are three kids in my class (thirteen and fourteen years olds) whose parents are buying them.

XD Would they be the type to not want you to just ask for money? What usually happens is they'll ask me what I want, and get it, as long as it was within reason. Certain birthdays got more attention, though. Like when I turned 16, I got Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons as my chosen gift. 18...I honestly cannot remember right now. And my brother got a brand new PS2 package when he turned 21. So it's not too unreasonable a request, but they got me an iPod last year (2 GB Nano, black), but this year, I can't think of anything in a reasonable price range I want (same problem as last year, at that)...they're all expensive items I can live without, and that I don't know if they can really afford to buy right now...

Well, for a birthday present . . . they're $250, right? Well, when you barely have enough money to buy yourself food... A Wii isn't something high on your priorities list.

Aww, a Wii is nothing. There are three kids in my class (thirteen and fourteen years olds) whose parents are buying them. *points out that those kids aren't dealing with college tuitions yet, either* *points out that my parents aren't either* Scholarship and student loans. It's almost all on me (I get money for books, kinda, and if my car breaks down, they'll take care of that). But they have other issues to contend with anyway. Asking for money is the last resort thing. It may come down to that. I already did mention the Wii to my dad. Just a few minutes ago in an e-mail. But I made sure to mention it was something I could live without and I knew it was probably out of the price range.
