Aras screamed and covered his ears, the man standing over him held a gun in one hand, his sister's arm in the other. He sneered down at him. "Aww, does the little boy want his sissy?" He threw Cherish to the floor and turned away from the whimpering child. Ris winced and sat up, touching her broken arm gingerly. "Let him go, he's just a kid." The man ignored the pleas from both captives and reached for ammo. "Shut up." He kicked Aras in the stomach and sneered. "Go over there in the pantry." Aras sniffled and stared at Ris, she nodded feebly. "Go, it'll be okay." She winced as the man yanked her arms behind her, and handcuffing them. "This won't hurt a bit." He pointed the gun to the back of her head. Aras's scream was lost in the deafening sound of the gunshot, Ris slumped to the floor..... Yup, the story I'm working on now. What'da think? I feel bad for both of them...  Now I'm wondering about the context and such. Why would the guy do that to them? Why would Fen do that to anybody?  |

Short version: The guy (His name is Raelis), is a vampire, he sort of fed off of Ris for a while, but he got caught by Aras and another kid named Satri, so at this point in the story he's getting rid of the witnesses, but he's interrupted by the police who hear the gunshot. okay, maybe not so short story |
