I've found that most of the time, when people say someone's sadistic, they just mean that the person takes pleasure (of any kind) from someone's pain.

There used to be a mental disorder called Sadistic Personality Disorder, and that was even further from the normal definition, though; it had more to do with violent tempers and love of power than hurting someone for the sake of hurting them.

Semi-sick. The scariest thing I've ever done is my Saix story. After that the worst I've ever done was shoot someone point blank and make a small child watch. *shrug* I'm not as sadistic as Xiv and Elcie, they enjoy writing that stuff. It sucks the creativeness out of me.

See? I tried to do a sadistic NaNo story, and it crashed 2k into it. I just don't have that kind of fun.

I'm more of a cliff-hanger writer. I love cliff-hangers, not turn-your-stomach stuff
