I was going to do a lot of work today.

Then I went to a new mall that just opened here, and found that OHMIGOSH BORDERS OPENED.

Then I spent two hours reading there, got my dad to let me pick which book I wanted for Christmas, bought it, took it home, and spent the rest of the day reading it.

Now to get ready for my interview at 3 PM today, as well as clean around here more, pack so I can go home tomorrow, and watch Battlestar Galactica episodes so I'm ready for the mid-season finale which I may be watching at a movie theater.

MPH has like, lost me for life.

...well, it's lost me until I've exhausted the potential of Borders books, anyway.

Plus, MPH wraps it's books in plastic so poor college students can't just come in, pick a book and start reading. D:

I don't really understand how Borders doesn't go out of business when so many people come in, read and leave o__o But then again I've not exactly looked into their business plan. Just their Neil Gaiman section and their display case with all the shiny DVDs in...

Well, frankly, it's a really good idea. See, people come in and read, but they put the books back. And if you're hooked on a book, you'll be more likely to buy it, as opposed to not even knowing what's in a book 'cause it's all wrapped up and stuff, right?

...well, it always happened to ME.
