And HOW are itty-bitty black mages supposed to tote those massive tomes around? Gleipnir, for example. It had a weight of 20. How was my ikkle 8 constitution mage s'posed to carry that? ...Well, gripe about black tomes, or get light or anima magic. *shrug* [glow=teal,2,300]I remember a debate I did a few weeks ago. Athos + Luna > Anyone with S-ranked weapons + Full supports when fighting Nergal. I forgot about the Dragon, but I think it's pretty much the same. Try sticking Ewan as a Pupil with Gleipnir. He had great stats on that play-through, and I was using him a lot. I love Anima magic, but there's so few light magic enemies, it's hard for them to fight (I can't put them on the front lines, as they'll be wiped off the face of the earth by physical enemies). Now I remember. I tried giving Ewan Gleipnir. Ick. I had Hector (Oh sweet Fyora, Hector, he is a god) run up and hammer on Nergal/Fire Dragon, then have Eliwood run and rescue him, then carry him over to Priscilla to heal. Then Athos, rescue with Lowen, heal with Pent. Rinse, lather, Basilikos, they're dead. |
