Because all of Savannah is haunted, and the dorms are no exception. The dorms used to be a hotel (also possibly located on/near an old Jewish cemetery), and apparently the hotel owner drowned a woman in the bathtub. Also, her son died on the roof (son was told by the mom to go hide, he got locked outside on the roof, no one heard his cries for help) - the son frequently played with marbles, and is attributed to the marble-dropping noises. A kid committed suicide infront of room 600/601. Things like that. ... *whimpers* Scar - let me put it this way. I am a complete coward when it comes to ghosts. ;___; Why not tell yourself there's no such thing? Unless there is and I'll be mauled by one later... >> Just kidding. ^^ Unless you honestly believe in ghosts, just tell yourself that ghost stories are just that-- stories, specifically ones meant to scare people. Well, I could tell myself that, but I have a habit of not listening to myself. I won't 100% say I believe in ghosts, but I leave open the possibility for such. I accept that there are things that we can't explain or don't understand within this realm (or whatever other realms there might be), and ghosts fall under that classification. Makes life a whole lot easier Well Spot remind ya never to take ya to the Hungry Ghost Festival. Just think of them as being 'dimensionally disadvantaged' individuals from Discworld. I love that imagery (I'd have to or I'd jump with every squeak during the festival) ^_^; o___o ... Hungry Ghost Festival? *hides*

Everything has an explanation to me. ^^ To each their own.

I don't even want to know what that means. That means we're dancing happily because you're here. Got a problem with that?

Sometimes, I feel like my house is haunted... Or that some kind of ghost follows me around or something. (Occaisionally, I think I'll see someone watching me, out of the corner of my eye. When I turn to look, there's no one there.)

*pops in* Hmm, interesting topic!
True story: I was on a night tour of Port Arthur, a place in Tasmania which is famous for... eh, historical reasons. It's got a lot of ruins of the colony which used to live there, and it's notorious for ghost stories aplenty. At one point, we were in the ruins of a church, and... I heard... the rattling of chains.
And only one other person heard it.
*grabs popcorn and munches*
