This really surprises me. I thought most FF nerds also played Zelda...because...well, let's face it, they appeal to the same audience. To clarify, a Trifroce is a triangle made up of three smaller triangles representing courage, power, and wisdom. It is the remnant of the three goddesses that made Hyrule and whoever controls the Triforce controls the land. However, the Triforce is conveniently split into three pieces throughout all the Zelda games so that Link controls the Triforce of courage, Zelda the one of wisdom, and Ganondorf the one of power. ...I am such a nerd... I'm a Zelda nerd, but I've never played an FF before. Out of fear that I'd get hooked. And I'm such a nerd, too. I knew all of that! [glow=red,2,300]*noddeths* Final Fantasy is addictive. Can't wait 'til XII comes out...[/glow]

I know they made GBA games, or something, but I've nevr seen 'em in stores or anything. *shrug*[/glow] Same here... except opposite: I've played Nintendo systems all my life and have never had any Playstations or so forth. Until I read the KH manga... and then something inside me snapped, and I went out and spent $150 on the thing. XDDD

I always watch my brother play them. x3

Also, the Legend of Zelda games make almost no reference to each other. Each game is an entirely different experience where Link becomes a different hero of a different land. Continuity? Who needs continuity?

XDDD Well, that's not strictly true - I've beaten FF1 and am somewhere in the middle of FF2... and I've played FFTA a bit... but beyond that, no.

I played FF7 for a while, then the computer died and I never bothered to get back to the point I was in again. As for FF10...I stopped the first time I played Blitzball. I hate sports in real life and in video games. *shivers* This really surprises me. I thought most FF nerds also played Zelda...because...well, let's face it, they appeal to the same audience. It should also be noted that Ganondorf is the main villain of most Zelda games. And despite the name "Legend of Zelda", Link is always the playable character, not Zelda. x3 Also, the Legend of Zelda games make almost no reference to each other. Each game is an entirely different experience where Link becomes a different hero of a different land. I thought the makers insisted that there were connections or something and they did have an order. If that's true, though, Link is reincarnated a crazy amount of times.

Who needs continuity? I know. The fact that each Zelda game is a new adventure is one of things that makes it so appealing. ^^ No matter how strong and legendary Link becomes in one game, he's back to square one in the next. And i'm loving it.

Speaking of video games - I'm about to start the Captain Hook boss battle in KH:CoM... XD Anyone care to share some tips? He's apparently very hard. ; (And if he's harder than Hades, then that's just scary. xD)

XD I was almost convinced that the door that you go through to the ending wasn't really the ending, 'cause I still hadn't finished some of the worlds yet. XD

With all the nifty combos and stuff, it made things a bit easier. However, I hated the final boss battle with a passion. Steal Sora from me and give me this weird battle scene that's hard to run in...*grumbles*

You usually want to be at the high end. Pack plenty o' Cure and spells that don't really need to be aimed. Don't die. ^_^[/glow]
