Uggh. Never try to make a person from Russia understand the Fourth of July. I eventually got him to understand 'fireworks', but that's about it. Well, just say: "July 4 is when aliens invade the US and we can't do anything." That'd make more sense. But then he'd like, freak out and leave the country. |

Nah but think about it, if Pickett's charge hadn't failed, the government could be very different today, which considering what kind of government the Confederacy was, that's really scary. >_> |

My neighbors start shooting off fireworks about a week before it starts and then for the rest of the month. XD I'm going to a July 4 party tonight. Our friends always have awesome Independnce day parties. |
