Depends. If it's from a friend, laugh at them. If it's from a mean person, type something along the lines of:

Hello, you have reached the email address of Susan Malane. Your request was not understandable and so we will be using your email IP to locate the source of disturbance.
A letter will be on its way to you shortly, excusing any delays.

The emails are from someone who says that if I reply to them I can become "popular". In the most recent email they say that if I don't reply then "bad things" will happen.
