I guess I say "fee-yord" too...the ee and or sound kinda combine to make a y sound.

My RL last name is always mispronounced, so I can't see the appeal, but... ...I pronounce it Fyord. Like Fyora. Which probably didn't help, because it you pronounce Fj0rd "fee-yord" you probably pronounce Fyora "fee-yora." Hmm... |
