I try... j;) Well, let's see what I could be wrong about, and the likelyhood of each- - You might not be trying very hard to cover up your art style (possible, since other people seem to recognize your art) - You might be a redneck... wait, wrong list... j;) - You might be an American highschooler (possible, if you live on the west coast/go to a private school with tons of time out/are homeschooled/were on vacation this week), or live in any of the other timezones I mentioned (though, I'd bet you don't live in Kat and Gav's timezones) - You might be using MS Paint, though the possibility of this is so infintessimally small that I think it's fair to assume that you don't (Paint murders jpgs, and getting non-pixelated lines there is insanity) - You might be trying harder on your drawings than I assumed you did, or using a tablet (though, I think this is fairly unlikely...) Out of these, I find the timezone thing most likely... More fairly obvious facts about you- you don't know about the JH thing (though, I admit, I'm a bit fuzzy on the details myself), you have and use a scanner (but either don't know about using multiply layers to color under your sketch, or are coloring that way on purpose), and you are someone who either is or was quite well known on the Bloids, with a reputation as an artist. However, Tabloids: Chain of Memories didn't seem to offer any leads, since I'm fairly certain at this point that you are not JH, Crystal, or AK-17. (I feel obliged to note here that the MyLittleStoney link should be taken down from that page, since the pet is no longer the keeper of Bloid comics, and does not appear to be owned by a NTWFer). I've been posting everything I know... XDD I'm not the one who recognizes the style... But I'll take the pics anyway, plzkthx.  Anyway... the only thing I came up with of interest was the fact that Rachel's Illusen banner has the upturned-shoulder thing, too... though, I doubt it's relevant... EDIT: More necessary facts- NTWFNews must have been around the forums for some amount of time before late March, 2005, but was most likely not very active around that time (to account for his/her knowledge about the NTWF timeline). I appear to have hit a brick wall, however... |

Okay...time for Tessy to share her knowledge...
I think it's most likely a mod we're dealing with here, which may explain why the other mods know who we're dealing with. Also, this person is clearly a very talented artists, for these drawings were quickly done-you can tell by the unstable lines and the way nothing seems to be erased. A tablet user-by the looks of things. Also, note the way the girl's glases don't show here eyes. I think I remember someone here always doing this before-and come to think of it, I remember someone with a picture of themselves that looked close to that...

But, while I will not give anymore personnal information about myself, I thought it good to correct something. I do not have a scanner, nor a Tablet. I solely use my trusty mouse. Therefore, what you will often see will be the best I can do at that specific time.
Now that this matter is cleared, I wish you a lot of pleasure and luck in trying to discover my identity.

Teh BossHmm...that only adds to the speculation that you're a good artist...because not even I could do that with a mouse... Well, I'd figured out the mouse part- there are some very good mouse artists around here, and the writing looked very mousey (since letters are harder to do by mouse than lineart, IMO...) The lack of scanner, however, honestly confuses me. The grey lines and artifacts on the Stal drawing are characteristic of scanned art... and I can't see how they'd accidentally end up in mouse art. But, Tess, I doubt it's a mod- the mods have IP trackers, so of course they can get a decent idea of who the person is. On the other hand, NTWFNews doesn't know things that he/she (I get the feeling it's a he...) should know if he/she was a mod. |
