*comes in very late* Why can't they be worse? Why as high as 13, what does it include that 12 year olds couldn't handle but a 13 year old could? [glow=red,2,300]*thinks of Patrick* 12-year-olds can handle a lot. It's more of a warning to anyone who doesn't want to be in a PG-13 setting. Movie ratings aren't precise. Obviously, pre-teens are allowed into PG-13 movies all of the time, without their parents. Most of them are very mature about what they see. Just don't get hung up on the details, 'kay? ^_^ It's not like we can prevent the pipsqueaks from running around where they please. Like the Proboards Staff, we're powerless to enforce. Besides, I can't picture a Tabloids without Patrick and Kirb.[/glow] Patrick es doce anos? Weird. . . I think that PG-13 movies are suitable for down to 11-year-olds. . . mainly because I saw PotC, Phantom of the Opera, Centerstage and Star Wars when I was 10-11, and my teacher's 3 year old saw PotC. And lots of R-rated movies (especially Indian movies) are viewable by little kids. And when I was in India, one of the movies I saw started out with a five-minute-long song where all the girls wore bikinis. XD. My little brother saw it too. And if that's not PG-13. . .

12 year olds are NOT allowed to have accounts on Proboards, therefore we could get into much trouble acknowledging that we know we have under 13s here. Stop talking like we do! (though, if they had an acccount when they were 12 and we didn't know, but they are 13 now, then its okay) AnyWHO... A guy without shirt in someone's avatar sounds okay to me. Ever walk down the street on a hot day in Texas? Ever watch the news? Even cartoon guys have no shirts sometimes =P My question is: Is the reason you don't like it because he has no shirt....or because he has no shirt and he's fat? If its the latter, then I really don't find that fair at all. My opinion is: If the picture doesn't have anything sexual implied, and nothing wrong is showing, Then it should be OK. The problem isn't that he's shirtless; it's that he's wearing a Speedo-type thing and Stal said it was S+M. Do you say that it's S+M? If Stal said that he was a courgette, it wouldn't make it so. Isn't it Zeus / Jupiter who has the lightning bolts?

Isn't it Zeus / Jupiter who has the lightning bolts? He's a god. And also, almost all people used to believe that the Christian 'God' brewed storms. So. . .

God and lightning bolts have become synonymous of late. So they have. But some people claim that lightning bolts are Satanic symbols. ...*brain explodes*

In humorous shows, God smites the infidel with lightning all the time. But that's just twisted American humor for ya. [/glow]

Again, the Proboards TOS states nobody is allowed to join who is under 13. If they lied about their age, I cannot control that. I'm 12. Well, anyway, I probably shouldn't be here, and actually, to be honest, I'm quite sorry. Now that I'm looking over posts, it seems as though people under 13 shouldn't really be in this forum, at least, the Tabloids (even though you all keep Patrick, and I think Rider enjoys teasing him anyways). But, to be truthful, the NTWF isn't really too much of my home. To express my fair opinion, from the deepest corners of my heart, a lot of people here are overdramatic, worry too much, and this place is just almost neglecting to the younger ages. I'm sorry. I don't mean to offend anyone here, but that's how I feel. No one seems to care for the younger generation on this forum, whether just the treament of conversation or the sexually implied parts. I remember, once, even a good three or four months in the Tabloids, I read over something truly disgusting. I've said my share of things as such, but what happened was overall not approiate (did I spell that right? I'm in one of my off-moods of writing) for this sort of forum. On the "treatment of conversation" part...well, it was difficult to find any short words for it. Really, what I mean, is people on here seem to not care for younger people's voices. I've even noticed over the months that a lot of times people of younger forum ranks - for instance, people who haven't been published in the NT and aren't mods - get ignored towards more advanced-ranking people. It's just not plain fair, and I wish I could say something better that wouldn't make me feel as though I'm exaggerating, but it's the truth. Yeah, yeah, I know: if I didn't want such, I probably shouldn't have lied about my age anyways. I shouldn't have broken the rules. But the thing is: I'm reaching my 13th year in four months, and Proboards, before upgrading, allowed people younger to join forums. Excuse me for bursting out a lot of probably annoying opinions from the younger generation all at one time, and usually I don't ever put up very well thought after opinions, but that's my little ration of the arguement. ...This was probably just another one of my dramatic, over-the-top posts that gets edited every single step of the way so that way I get pointed out my wrong points, which I just happen to have a lot of. ------------ About the ratings or warning system thing, I think that's a neat idea. Plus, yes, pictures of Stal like that make me queasy, and I generously thank Will for removing the avatar. ^^ XD Overall, I still think the NTWF ought to be more "every age friendly". Afterall, this forum was meant for NEOPIAN TIMES WRITERS, and younger NT writers ought to have the ability to come here for chat about writings or artwork without avatars, signatures, or other unpleasant stuff floating to the review boards, with still more people focusing on hearing the words of the younger age.
