Paige: No, no, that was LAST week! Now Lauren's with Tyler and Shane is with Abby! Me: I thought Abby was with Ryan! Paige: No! Ryan's with Alyssa! Me: AUGH! Okay. So, Xanthe was all sad because Michael has a girlfriend, so she was talking to me, and then Joe was eavesdropping. So then a little while later, Michael asked me what was up with Xanthe, but I didn't want to say, so then Joe said "She loves you," and I started laughing because Joe actually told him, but Joe was actually lieing, so I gave it away that she did like Michael, and then he wanted to talk to Xanthe but then word got out that Joe and I had told Michael, so then Xanthe was all avoiding Michael and stuff. And now I feel that I was the one that caused all of this. *headdesk* And Ana Laura was trying to get together with Jorge and I tried to help her but I half-wanted to be in Jorge's place and then a group of friends (incluiding Jorge) invited her to the movies and she said she wasn't comfortable with the people who were going and could she be referring to me? |

I disagree with my English teacher that it's English, not American. We speak American. It isn't the same. You don't have "I told Rider to tell Sammy to tel Ery that Patrick and Echo were divorced but Rider told Patjade who told Kiddo that Tdyans and Stal held hands at the movies but Ery and Rider TOTALLY went to Iceland so Tracy and Crystal set Buddy on fire and no one told Elcie about my new CELL PHONE!" in England  Really, though. More like "I told Rider I got a new telephone" xD No offense to anyone, of course. It's just, you know  |

No, it's the same language, Patrick. It's English because we still speak the same language.
However, we have a different DIALECT of English, which is entirely different from a language. Even the American-English Dialect will vary depending on the region. One could take your same logic and argue that those are different languages. Just like how someone once tried to get ebonics made into an official language.
