Most of the Pokemon fans who are still around are older teens. And if someone I knew saw me buying it, I would brag about it and then invite them to my house to watch anime, thus branding myself as a total weirdo. XD We ARE total weirdos. In real life, I would never snog a dog, but I lurve widdle Nickeh when he's not being foul and disgusting.  Which is... when? ...My friend snogged my other friend's dog once xDDD |

I feel horrible right now.
I was looking back at the reviews on my old poems on Gaia, and in one of my poems I wrote "Azarath Metrion Zinthos". Here's what someone said:

If you didn't give credit, then it -is- a bit like plagiarism, but that person wasn't being very constructive anyway. It's like the people who go "I hate this sort of poem, but I'm going to type this all up anyway--" I dislike that sort of person, as personal likes and dislikes don't matter when critiquing poetry. If someone concentrates on the fact that a phrase you use was created by someone else, rather than the flow or whatever else that's actually constructive criticism, I'd advise you to ignore it. It's pointless, annoying, and stuff like that can make you pretty depressed after a while. Work on your writing skills; don't worry about whether or not your phrases are "stolen from tv shows". ...For what it's worth, I don't think much of the Gaia writing community. ^^ I'm sure there are some nice people there... I just don't feel like posting anything I've written. There are a lot of flamers there and other not-very-nice people. |
