Aw... I wanted to make the new board. Oh well. [glow=red,2,300]Has anyone here ever read "Of Mice and Men?" Why is the last scene memorable? I mean, I know that it's memorable. I know I'll remember it forever. (That was so sad!) But the essay question asks, "Why was it memorable?" That's like asking, "Why does 2+2=4?"[/glow] Meh, sorry, never read it. You know, I'm working on "Dogsong" for school, and I think it's really weird. I mean, one snippit is about these Eskimos considering eating their mother if they couldn't find any deer. o.o;;;;; That sounds much weirder than Slaughterhouse Five.

It's like seeing double XD I didn't want to mess up drawing in the forum sketchypad, so I drew on a piece of paper first, and then drew in the sketchbook. So now I have two near-identical images of a Tasu sitting side by side. X3 Now I need to go find a good reference pic of a meepit. I feel like I did stuff today.... I started writing the next chapter for Stal's and my story, I started drawing in the sketchbook, and I started to construct my new set of ears and tail by painting the fur fabric black. ... who knows, myabe I'll finish something today too. *gnaws on the closest person* Gah! I've been gnawed! I drew the meepit, weewoo, feepit, and wuzzer pic without references. You can totally tell when you look at the feepit. :/ But they're soooo cute! X3 I luffies them. [glow=red,2,300]Has anyone here ever read "Of Mice and Men?" Why is the last scene memorable? I mean, I know that it's memorable. I know I'll remember it forever. (That was so sad!) It was sunrise in the Salinas valley, with the herons and the snakes and the willows .... I know this because my english teacher, as one of the reports on the book, said we could paint a scenario from it. X3 I got an A+ in English for artwork. =D 'Twas a happy day.

[glow=red,2,300]So did they find the deer? [/glow] Yup, they found the deer. The passage ends something like, "...and then a deer came into the clearing and my uncle shot it through the heart. And we did not have to eat our dear old mother." The scariest part was they had asked her if they could eat her and she said yes. o.o;;!
