*puts a sign on the door outside* DO NOT DISTURB ((and ignore any shouts or screams)) [glow=red,2,300]Rider: *comes out, looking rather more mussed and sweaty than usual*[/glow] [glow=maroon,2,300]Voice: *comes to conciousness* You look like you've come off the wrong side of a fight.[/glow] [glow=red,2,300]Rider: You have no idea.[/glow] *comes out whistling cheerily* We should try that again sometime. Experimentation is always for the best, right?

Okay, maybe there IS a logical explanation of why the next part of "Wedding, Schmedding" seems hurried and confusing. I just had an argument with my dad. I gave him my article on a diskette to print on the malfunctioning computer so he can work it right. However, I forgot to tell him that it was supposed to be on LONG bond paper, not SHORT bond paper. Great. He says that if I mess up like that again (since he's already printed it) I won't be allowed on the Internet again for as long as I live. He even mimicked how I said that I wanted something to be printed. I'm such a stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID fool. *pats Kat* People have done stupider things. *nodding off* ...like paying too much for phone service! Switch to Vonage! *slap* Aw, Kat, it's okay...you aren't stupid. Everyone has to make a mistake once in a while. 'Cause if they don't, they're, like, God or something. And as far as I know he's in Heaven, so everyone down here is bound to goof up sometimes. *hugs*

Repost from last night, since no one answered my question. *brick'd for narcissism* Question: Was this mean and wrong for me to do? Situation: Yesterday, August 12, was Yui's 18th Birthday. John, one of my best friends and her ex-boyfriend (and things between them are very stretched thin right now) wanted to call her. He told me that on Thursday night in his normal style. This is how it went: "Well, I'm off work by 7. I'm going to try tomake it on time, so this gives you all day until 7:30, or so." "For what?" He doesn't answer right away, but he mentions later: for calling her. Because, you know, no one else could possibly be working or busy at all during the day (ignoring the fact she was working until 4 my time) and he gets high priority *cough* . Now, I wasn't even sure I was going to call her or whatever...and when they were together in such circumstances as both of us going to call same day I always let him take priority. Unless she asked me to call her that time specifically in which case he'd tell me flat out "Well, try to get in before I do then." Anyway. So about 5 PM (my time, 6 for her) I get an e-mail from her, a response to the birthday e-mail I'd sent Thursday night. "p.s. you can call tonight if you feel like it. " I respond immediately. I ask her when, I explain what John said (and made mention that I was irked about it). "you may call whenever the hell you want. ^_^" and reiterated at the end: "love you! and call whenever you want. " So i call at 7 (my time). She's eating dinner. She tells me to call back in 25-30 minutes ("and if John calls me first, I'll tell him to call back another time."). I call at 7:30. We stay on the phone for an hour, mostly her talking with me listening. Was this evil or wrong by any chance? I hope not. Her and I even talked about it. She has a ton of good friends in her life that mean a lot to her. Saying that you're going to call at a certain time does not mean it's reserved for him and him alone. Sure, if they'd been together I would've let that go as the boyfriend should take priority. But considering they've not been together for 8 or 9 months now, and he's ticked her off quite heavily these past 6 months... ...anyway. Yeah. But the story doesn't end there! 9:00 rolls around, we've been off the phone for thirty minutes. My sister calls me into the living room where she's on this new laptop of my dad's... "Are you on the phone with Sarah?" "No." "Okay. Because John was saying he thinks that 'this bloody busy signal' is you." "Oh. No, tell him I've been off since 8:30. ...and that she's eating cake right now anyway, and maybe on the phone with someone else who was supposed to call her today." I walk away. I go back in the living room 10 minutes later. "He say anything else?" "No. I asked how he was doing said 'Bloody well' and signed off." "Ah." "He gets so crabby sometimes." "Yep." Later that night I try to talk with him. He signs on AIM, doesn't IM me at all. Then I send him a message after a few minutes: "You finally get through?" "Yeah." "That's good." "Yeah." That was our conversation for the night.
