Unless someone can open a hyperdimensional, temporal portal, that enables us to stop the glitch from happening. I talked to my brother about why we're having these problems, actually. It's because the database that's running this forum is so incredibly huge. Losing data is a sign of a database curling up in a ball and screaming in pain. So, all those posts are gone now. Just wiped out of the database... gone, fineto.

*shifty eyes* *sics her pet microraptor on Spot* Microraptor: Wark? Meh. x.x ::sics her tyrannian krawk on the microraptor:: img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/spotthechelsey/krawky.jpgIf you still need the info I gave you, I typed it in word, so I still have it... ... The simple Zoobooks magazine has more on it than the Museum of Natural History book. --; Well, here's what I found anyways: Prehistoric Zoobooks- Flyers (Book 8): "Some scientists say that bird ancestors were reptiles that went up in trees to hunt insects. Sometimes when they flew away, the reptiles jumped after them. Over millions of years, the reptiles developed small wings to help them glide after the insects. The wings grew larger until the reptiles could fly- and they became birds. Another theory says that small dinosaurs chased insects on the ground. They developed small wings as a kind of net to help them trap insects. The wings grew larger until the dinosaurs could fly. And they became birds." From the "American Museum of Natural History's Book of Dinosaurs": "Three-foot-long Archaeopteryx was probably not as good a flyer as most modern birds. Some scientists claim it may have used the long claws that tipped its wings to clamber up from the ground to tree limbs or bushes, where it then swooped down on insects or other tiny prey. Its wings may have also allowed it to flutter out of the reach of larger predators." "Few paleontologists today think that Archeopteryx was actually a direct ancestor of living birds; instead, it may have represented a dead-ended evolutionary pathway. However, most scientists still believe that this small creature supports the theory that birds are, in fact, the only living descendants of the dinosaurs."

*Rides in on a Utah raptor* I love these it's my favorite member of the raptor family. Those used to be my favorite too! Ever read Raptor Red? Great book, I loved it. But I think I'm kinda fond of the duckbills and the microraptors now. A little bird/dino thing with four wings? C'mon! How is the microraptor not cool? *feeds it a cricket*
