Jay is military. He came back to college to get his degree and stuff, but he's like late twenties, early thirties, served on aircraft carriers and crap like that. 5 years of service, I believe.

Well, it wasn't like true attacks. Jay was just joking with me. He's a fun guy and I know quite honestly I am a large geek. I can take things anyway.

But yeah, it's nice to know that there's a possibility of actually making a new friend here on campus. So far I have....none. My roommate and I don't talk (a situation I plan on rectifying soon) because he's a worse introvert than I am. The only other person I talk with, Erin, lives across the street from me back home and we've been friends for awhile. Well, not so much the last few years because of busy schedules. But we just happened to choose the same college. And just happened to sign up for the same Pre-Calc class.

Of course. And as well my friends across the country whom I see maybe three times a year if I'm lucky.

But it's not been too bad on campus not knowing anyone. Although Erin's trying to get the hell off of campus, so I know it'll be depressing soon enough (she hates Missouri, period. She wants to go to Univ. of Mich. and if she can't get in there, then a foreign study over in Germany)
