Hmm... well, I've got an idea for a comic. It includes two faeries, though I'm not exactly sure which two yet. Probably Well and Blaze, though.

Are any of the faeries so far inherently 'clueless' characters? I like those >.> I think it'd be fun to write a story about the faeries of one of the elements (I haven't decided which) going off to get supplies for their respective cause - magic ingredients or something. Maybe the fire faeries are using so much of their power in this conflict that their magic supply is running low and they have to reinforce it with magical artifacts, and they send off two or three luckless underlings to fetch them (like, maybe Smelly has to do it and Blaze, much to her dismay, is sent along to keep her from causing any large explosions and such, or maybe I'll make up my own characters rather than use the ones already made); they get in lots of trouble along the way but miraculously avoid any serious harm and complete their quest in the end. And of course I'd add an author note about how much fun the Faerie war plot is and how it's my favorite plot evar X)

Just an idea: maybe our comics could be linked together. For example, my comic is the first part of the story, Ebil's is the second, Pyro's the third etc... This way, it will look like a plot. What do you think?

Yes, but that has to do with the order their ideas were conceived... not the order they will show up in the Times. When you take into account they'll all be in different sections of the times, it would be a real pain to try and get them to show up close enough to being in order so that people would get it. Unless you want to put 'part one' and 'part two' and things in their titles... but how many readers will have the patience to go through the whole paper looking for and reading each one in order? Do we really want our submissions to look like they are the plot? I was under the impression we would be fooling the general neopian public into thinking we were writing stories based on characters from a plot that was actually going on, sort of like how people wrote stories using the LDP characters. Then again, I usually don't understand things so...

Okay.... I'll add Jodi to the list on Pg 3. But I think I'm going to write a story about SMELLY! If I were in a war, I'd be a peacekeeper, and Smelly, I bet, is really a deep, sophisticated, smelly, character

I am going to write an article about the plot. It's going to include a basic background of why there's a war and then will introduce the main characters and why you should side with each of them.

The whole quest faeries idea sounds good to me. ^^ I'm almost certainly doing a story. About... something. I don't know. I always come up with story ideas at the last minute. Or-r-r... I could try my hand at a plot comic that looks like TNT's. I'd probably fail horribly and I wouldn't be able to do the fading-in-and-out thing with Flash, but every plot needs a comic. Wait, we're not making the Times stories the actual plot. Ah well. It could still be a spoof that looks like a plot comic...

BANG! A Dark missile ricocheted of the stone wall of a Water fortress, smashing with malicious impact into battle-stained cloud. The potent Dark magic seeped through the ground, birthing a pool of Darkness to be used as a foxhole base. Foul odours wisped off from the violet pool, but weren’t nearly as powerful as the reek emanating from a lone protestor, marching along in front of a Light Faerie base.

It's a fine idea, but you have to remember that we're pretending that TNT is actually doing this plot. So it would be redundent to have the plot show up in the NT.

That's what I meant with the last sentence. Sorry it wasn't clear. I just thought I might make it look like I was spoofing off of a real plot comic. I'll probably go with a story anyhow.

Note: If anyone starts writing a story/article/comic, post the characters here so I can update the chart. Hopefully the usage of the main characters is well-balanced.

*giggles at Goosh's opening* Awesome.
I think I'll make mine about two dark faeries, Wisp and Lorisa. With a note at the end saying "From the author: I hope you all liked my story. Hey TNT, Great job on the new plot! Smelly is my favorite character and all of them are really well drawn!' Although, the note may be a bit much XD
Goosh: if we're pretending the whole thing is a real plot and our characters are the real characters, maybe we could act like some of them are minor characters, because I'm sure some will only be used by one or two authors. I don't see anyone wanting my two useless dark faeries for anything >.>
If someone does an article summing everything that's happened so far in the "plot" are they going to mention our characters and things, along with some "events" that have happened in the real plot? I think someone mentioned that idea, didn't they?
