Humorous anecdote #1: When that first pic of me was taken, Spot was on the phone with Stal, and she made me speak to him. My first ever word to some guy I've never actually spoken to? "What?"

Wheee~! Now it's time for... Leah’s Totally Pwnsome Side of the Story Chapter 1 I woke up in the inn around 7:00 that morning, trying to figure out why my dad hadn’t woken up yet. He’s usually up and running hours before that, but the ride from Marietta to Savannah wore him out. After a few minutes of nudging him awake and a quick trip to CVS, we had breakfast at a restaurant a few blocks over, and waited until about 12:30 before heading for River Street. Walking through Savannah, I really noticed how different it was from my hometown. Marietta is such a family-oriented city where you have to go by car if you want to get anywhere. In Savannah, everything is right next to each other, so you only need to walk or ride a bike. It’s also the first time in my life I’ve ever had to constantly use the “look both ways” rule when I cross the street. My dad stopped me a few times to admire the visual aspects of various things. He’s very artistically literate, and is always interested in what art and designs and colors I’m interested in. At the same time, I stopped to admire some of the higher-scale things, such as the huge bridge that went across the river, or the old-fashioned houses and buildings. You could tell Savannah was one of the few parts of Georgia that didn’t get burned to the ground during the Civil War. My dad’s watch said 1:00 pm exactly, so we headed for Christmas on the River. I almost walked past a group of people in the front when I did a double take – was that Growly? I quickly recognized her from her dA picture, so I knew I was in the right place. I approached and introduced myself, identifying people by their looks and clothes. I could tell who Spot was by her red hair and little, stuffed cheetah. Komori’s persona both online and real life was an enigma, but I recognized her by the Haunted Woods shirt she was wearing and the cover of her sketchbook. Potato, which I recognized from her resemblance to Komori, came back from T-shirt shopping. Throughout much of the meetup, random people, particularly old men, walked up to us and said something totally out of the blue. Total freak #1 approached us as we were waiting for Wanderer. He pointed to Spot’s stuffed Cheetah and said, “Is that the Gremlin’s baby?” We just sort of started at him oddly until he pointed to Growly. “And you’re the Gremlin mother, right?” We continued to stare at him blankly as he repeated himself and walked off. As Komori said, it would have been very interesting if that was Wanderer. Several moments later, we began wondering where Wanderer was. Spot called him up and told him that the store was on the left of River Street, yet he still did not show up. We passed the time by speculating what he would look like. And the more time passed, the weirder our descriptions of him got. We ended up classifying him as a three-eyed bearded dwarf. Until he actually decided to, you know, FIND us. Spot called him again and pointed out that Christmas on the River was on the left of River Street facing the RIVER, so after we established that, we decided to walk toward him so we could meet up faster. After walking several blocks, a random guy with curly hair and a cap came in front of us and took a picture. Before we could label him as Total Freak #2 and call the fuzz, he made himself known as Wanderer. With the whole group there, we were ready to start the day.
