In fact, I couldn't stand my old neighbors, because they let their cats breed like rabbits because they thought spaying is cruel and they love adorable baby kittens...so now we have about thirty or fourty feral cats that roam my streets, since they discovered they couldn't afford that many animals. They moved away last year and left the cats. Disgusting behavior...
I just wanted to remind people that some surgical alterations of pets *are* good for them.
Sorry. It wasn't clear to me that you were playing devil's advocate-- it just sounded like that was really your opinion, though it did surprise me based on other opinions I've seen expressed by you here and there. Either way, I didn't mean to come off as if I was yelling at you or anything, so I apologize very much. I guess it's just an easy thing to rant about and I went overboard. Now that I see the point that you were trying to make, I agree (obviously).
Sorry again-- why I should stay off this board or at least be a little less impetuous when I'm on it.
