That's really stupid. That's not going to help them get better test scores. They need that time to wear off all of that energy that they have. When they take the test, they'll be bouncing in their seats and they won't be able to concentrate on the tests. I agree with Tdyans about the obesity and test scores going down.

Nobody goes outside until 1:10, and when it's 1:10, we're aloud to go out, but nobody really leaves till Ala carte is closed (1:15), methinks... 3/4's of 6th grade goes out, while other's choose to stay in. ANd if it rains, we can bring CD players and gameboy's to lunch!!!! ^_^

Pah. Taking away their recess like that would get the kids angry, and could cause lower test scores. I would refuse to even work. I hate it when adults think they can fix things but they can't >_<;

EDIT: We have recess 10-10:25, and 12-12:20.
