I know my mom always told me in Amish country they have diapers on the horses that pull their buggies. I have seen a canvas used to catch the poo from horses rigged up on a buggy, but I haven't seen it often. I've never seen diapers. Most of the time the horses just steamy dung on the road. The leavings are refered to affectionately as 'road apples'. Sometimes it gets bad by the hitching posts, but the owners of the property they're on are responsibly for keeping it clean. I live near Lancaster, PA. Frankly, there's an awful lot of horse poo.

I was certainly wondering how they were able to put a diaper on a horse anyway XD I know they have a little diaper like thing for dogs that go into heat so maybe a horse diaper wouldn't have been so far fetched? Dunno. I remember when I lived in Ohio we suddenly got plagued with Canada Geese and they'd doo everywhere and that's nasty!
