Why not? Though a mod still has to clean up the forum, he or she also can have fun as well. I mean, basically you're saying that mods don't do much stuff fun on the forum, and that isn't true. Mods can have as much fun as any other forumer. Meh...I'm just in a debating mood I agree. Mods can still be as insane as the rest of us. They just have to work hard to ensure that the forum doesn't go under and keep the place clean, safe and fun!

Well... There is the unspoken rule about the mod thing. You don't ask. That is considered very rude... *at least it is what I think*
I think that being a mod means you have to be very mature, know the stuff in the right place and being willing to do hard work plus knowing a lot. Wait... Is that true? *thwacks herself on the head*
Of course, you can let go and be crazy for a while or so ^^ But the main thing is the responsibilities. I guess that's why there are mods.
*runs away and hides* I hope I didn't say anything wrong.

Yeah, t'is just a general rule of thumb that'd be brought up in case you were asking or just wondering for the sake of curiosity.
Reason for that is the ones who tend to ask for it and want it are the kind of people you don't want doing it. *nodnod*
And for a mod you have to be like...uber-able to do stuff. Lot's of responsibility that you don't realize is there until you deal with it.
And the people who are active, friendly, mature, and so forth don't just automatically qualify. These people have to be about as perfect as you can get when it comes to patience, willingness to help, so forth.
Yeah.
Anyway. Done with my little thingy.
I should do some of my schoolw--oh, look, butterflies *wanders off*

Mmm plain asking and even dropping hints will not make you a mod.
Just be helpful and crap and maybe a current mod will notice you and bring you up if we need a mod.
...but we won't need any new ones anytime soon.

Okay, you all may leave this topic alone. Nothing to see here. Shoo! *Pokes you all with sticks* Okay, one last thing then Socky... I wasn't actually accusing you, I was just trying to state something kind of obvious I'm sorry if you got hurt or anything like that. I didn't mean it to be taken like an accusation, now. Well, that's my final say since this thread is kind of out-debated anyway.
